The 2nd Annual Teen Photo International Photography contest is a photo contest hosted by TeenagePhotographer.com, a website for young photographers. This year’s sponsors include National Geographic Student Expeditions, Custom SLR, Peak Design, and Mindshift Gear. Proceeds from this event will benefit Rehabilitation through Photography, a charity that hopes to advance the needs of the disadvantaged through the power of photography.

Judges
This year’s judges are Miriam Leuchter, editor-in-chief of Popular Photography, the world’s largest photography magazine, and Vaughn Wallace, photographer and producer at TIME magazine’s online photo blog, LightBox. This is Leuchter’s second year of judging.

Divisions/Age
Division I entails students that are age 16 or under as of January 12, 2013. Division II includes individuals that are 17-22 as of January 12, 2013. Students over the age of 22 are not allowed entry.
Deadlines
All mailed entries must be postmarked by March 22, 2013. The online deadline is March 24, 2013 Midnight American Central Time. Results will be announced in April, and prizes will be mailed out late April and early May.
Rules
Schools and individuals may submit an unlimited number of entries. Schools /accredited educational institutions must contact justin@teenagephotographer.com for group discounts. HDR and all other forms of editing are allowed, as long as the photo submitted is not purely digital art. Photos may not contain full-frontal nudity. Artful partial nudity is allowed. Photo rights remain with the photographer, but Teen Photo retains the right to reproduce winning photographs for promotion of the Teen Photo International Photography Contest. Photos and winning photographers may be featured on TeenagePhotographer.com, Photography through Rehabilitation, and related publications.
