What Canon Gear Do You Own?

I own a standard lens, and the Canon EOS Rebel 1000D… and very soon a portrait lens.

My name is Lucas Gabellini-Fava and I have been an avid photographer for about five years now. I was born and raised in London but I am half French half Italian. My love for photography came to me as a bit of an accident. When I was ten years old I thought it was ‘cool’ to have a camera so I asked for one for Christmas. It just sat there in my room for a few months until I decided to pick it up and take a picture. Since then I’ve been hooked. I am now experimenting with different techniques such as use bleach on my analog photographs. I have had my works published on numerous blogs and I have exhibited my work in an art fair in Vienna.

Canon 60D, with a Canon 50mm f/1.8. Planning on getting a 70-200 f/2.8 with a Tamron 17-50 f/2.8.


I’m a sixteen year old photographer from Austin, Texas. I launched Teen Photo in the summer of 2011, the first website dedicated to the growth and collaboration of young photographers. Since then, the site has grown enormously and garnered a lot of support in the photo industry. 60D with 50mm f/1.8, plan on getting a 70-200 f/2.8 (non stabilized)

I also have the Tamron 17-50 f/2.8

The canon 60D, along with the 50mm 1.8, 24-70mm 2.8 and hopefully the sigma 30mm 1.4 very, very soon.

I also have the canon 580 ex II, does that count?

The 60D seems to be hugely popular. then again, it's only 800 body only and it's performance is pretty much identical to the 7D

Canon 500D, the kit lens (18-55), Canon 50mm f/1.8II, and Sigma 70-300 f/4-5.6 APO DG Macro.


Saving up for a Canon 85mm f/1.8 at the moment.

OK, I have a question… where do you guys get all this gear? I mean it's pretty expensive… 60D, 24-70L, 70-200 2.8s, etc.


I have a 1DII, a 24 2.8, and a few zooms (in my signature). Also a 430EX mk1 and a 270EX mk2. I've used a 20D (great value), a 20 2.8 USM, an 85 1.8 (WANT ;~), 7D, 5D mk 2, Tammy 17-50, other stuff…


I want a 5D Mark II and an 85 1.8. And a 35 1.4.

I own a Canon Rebel XS with a 18-55 mm lens and a 70-300 sigma lens , also with one UV Ray Filter. I am 15 years old, I've been interested and fascinated with photography, film and video ever since I started playing the sims 2 game, which was when I was about 10 years old. Although I've just gotten into photography 3 months ago, I hope to learn a lot so I can major in Film and Photography.


In the past time, I love to play video games such as Resident Evil, and Tekken. I love to draw and go out and take pictures around where I live. I also love to cook and meditate. :)


I am a sophomore student, I am a newcomer into the world of photography. I’ve been doing it for 3 and a half months. I am always learning how to better myself if you have any advice to provide for me, that would be greatly appreciated.

I am a Canon User.


I used to own a Canon 50mm f/1.8 II (Till it broke because it got dropped).


I currently own two other Canon Lenses, that I don't use (I use a Sigma and Tamron lens).


I own a Canon T1i, though hoping and saving (probably) for a Canon 5D Mark II (Or III). I also have a Canon Kiss III which is an SLR camera. :)
