A little about myself. I’ve been really immersed in photography for most of my life. I have a passion for photography; I started my own photography studio and the International Teen Photo Contest. I launched Teen Photographers for a place for young photographers to meet, and I hope you enjoy it.
You should check out my latest project, Neos Magazine – www.neosmagazine.com
In addition, I like frozen grapes and all grape stuff in general. Watermelons and peaches are also delicious. My favorite color is grey. I prefer Macs over Windows. I like my Nikon 85mm f/1.8D, but I just got a Canon 5D Mark II so I have to switch now.

I’ve been involved in photography for as long as I can remember. From stealing my parents point and shoot when I was little, to buying my first DSLR, photoography. has always been a part of my life.
In my photography, I’m inspired by the textures and colors of nature. Through my photography, I try to showcase the small details of things that might be overlooked, or not fully appreciated in the rush of a day. I hope my photos will encourage people to stop and enjoy the beauty of the nature that is around them.
When I don’t have a camera in my hands I participate in Cross-country, Track and field, and basketball.

I have always been fascinated by the world of media. Television, film, and still images have sparked my passions since a very young age. Born into an age of technology, it was a necessity for me to have a digital camera growing up. Shooting and editing photos have provided me with opportunities to better understand both myself and the world around me, and I am excited to share these understandings with the readers of Teen Photo. I’m a grade twelve student, and I love to write. I don’t eat pickles, because they’re pretty gross.

The first time I touched a camera, there was no distinct “click,” no overwhelming connection, nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing special. In fact, the second time, there was still no passion for photography. Same with the third, and the fourth, and the hundredth. It was only until this year, when I am 17, that I can call my camera a friend and not a machine.
While I never experimented with film like every other photographer and although my love for photography bloomed late, I am just as passionate about this art as anyone. Despite my time, I’ve managed to have my work exhibited in ZSL London Zoo, a Spanish gallery near Barcelona, an exhibition in Rome, Woodstock near Georgia in the USA, as well as winning a Gizmodo-Tamron Shooting Challenge, all of which was definitely exciting and well-appreciated.
College is coming soon and I plan on continuing my love of photography through this and my foreseeable future. As far as I’m concerned, the ability to capture the essence of a moment and eternalize it is unbelievable and will continue to entrance me forever.

My name is Lucas Gabellini-Fava and I have been an avid photographer for about five years now. I was born and raised in London but I am half French half Italian. My love for photography came to me as a bit of an accident. When I was ten years old I thought it was ‘cool’ to have a camera so I asked for one for Christmas. It just sat there in my room for a few months until I decided to pick it up and take a picture. Since then I’ve been hooked. I am now experimenting with different techniques such as use bleach on my analog photographs. I have had my works published on numerous blogs and I have exhibited my work in an art fair in Vienna.
